Expectations vs. Reality on FOMC Announcement Day

The latest FOMC Announcement was issued on Wednesday, November 2nd. Coming directly on the heels of the Third-Quarter GDP numbers, the Federal Open Market Committee’s rate decision and the subsequent press conference were expected to have a significant impact on the markets.
